POSITION:    Aero  Engineering  Manager

REPORTS  TO:    Tech  Director

  

PAY  STATUS:    Exempt

  

Primary  Responsibilities

  

1.  Manage  compliance  with  PCC  Code  of  Business  Conduct  and  Ethic  
2.  Implementation  of  the  Company’s  Health,  Safety  and  Environment  policy  within  all  technical  activities
3.  Maintain  a  full  set  of  manufacturing  processes,  work  cards  and  working  instructions  which  fully  meet  the  customer  requirements,AS9000  ,NADCAP,etc.  Ensure  that  the  Company’s  quality  procedures  are  complied  with  during  all  technical  activities.  This  includes  internal  audits
4.  Ensure  that  process  controls  are  implemented  rigorously  throughout  all  manufacturing  and  technical  activities
5.  Manage  ERP  data(STH,  EBQ  ,BOM,  Manufacturing  Lead  time,  minimum  stock,etc)  accuracy/Engineering  changes  process
6.  Managing  all  new  process/  products  in-load  program  
7.  Manage  the  procurement  of  all  tooling  to  manufacture  all  the  company’s  parts
8.  Provide  a  responsive  ,timely  and  effective  service  to  solve  shopfloor  manufacturing  problems  to  enable  the  Production  Manager  to  achieve  the  committed  delivery  .
9.  Define  process  equipments  and  project  manage  the  acquisition  of  new  plants,  equipment  and  tooling  to  enable  cost  effective  improvements  in  the  manufacture  of  the  company’s  products  and  to  customers’  Spec.,.  Be  responsible  for  the  process  equipment  annual  capability/status  check  in  Aero  Plant.
10.  Developing  a  dedicated  and  capable  engineering  forces  for  the  Aero  Plant  and  conduct  annual  performance  appraisal  for  all  his/her  team  members        
11.  Take  an  active  and  systematic  role  in  reducing  production  costs  for  all  components  while  complying  with  procedures  and  achieving  production  commitments  and  sales  targets
12.  Prepare  a  recommended  Tooling/Training  budget  for  Aero  Manufacturing  Manager  and  manage  the  approved  budget  to  achieve  the  technical  task  at  minimum  cost
13.  Achieve  an  effective  and  efficient  interface  with  other  co-workers  ,peer  managers.
14.  Perform  other  duties  within  his/her  capability  as  assigned.


Minimum  Education  and  Experience

  

?  Bachelors  degree  in  mechanical  engineering-related  field  of  study.  Substantial  experience  and  knowledge  of  engineering  production  methods  is  essential,  at  least  6  years  of  engineering  related  experience  in.  sheet  metal  work,  machining,  fitting,  assembly,  welding,  metal  treatments.
?  Minimum  three  years  experience  as  Engineering  Manager.
